Free Unit Studio

“The now Global Free Unit alters the balance of power between the students and teachers. It assists students to make independent projects based upon their own histories and beliefs.  It does this with well-established structures including: the development of a contract signed with the unit tutors, the identification of ten friends who support the project, the giving of a gift project to the project friends and drawing and swopping workshops. The projects are as diverse as the students themselves and often forms the first part of their future practice rather than the last stage of their education”
